Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing upgrades Corazon-Dolores, Otoxha roads

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) is working on upgrading roads in rural Toledo District.

“Works are currently ongoing on the Corazon/Dolores Road and in Otoxha,” said the MIDH in a social media post on Monday.

“We’re doing all we can, bearing in mind that the highest percentage of rain falls in the Toledo District. But we have a duty to serve our people, and that’s what we’re doing.”

Recently the MIDH repaired the Temash Bridge on Dolores Road. The MIDH said the bridge had deteriorated to the point that it was a traffic hazard.
