By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service says fair and mostly dry conditions prevail. The 24-hour forecast is for mostly sunny skies today and partly cloudy to clear skies at times tonight, with little or no rainfall expected.
High temperatures peak at 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 89 degrees across the interior and 77 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 76 degrees along the coast, 66 degrees inland and 62 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots and sea state is moderate to rough; a small craft caution remains in effect for occasionally gusty winds and locally rough seas.
Tides will be high at 8:59 this morning and 7:37 this evening and low at 1:18 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:40 this evening and rises at 6:26 Friday morning.
There may be a few coastal showers during the daytime on Friday but the weather will be otherwise fair and showers isolated.
