Belize Youth Movement Cayo hosts a successful movie night 

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Last night, the Belize Youth Movement (BYM) Cayo hosted a successful movie night at the Rotary Park in Santa Elena, Cayo.

More than 60 children and youths along with their families attended the “Wakanda Forever” movie night.

BYM President, Adrian Palma has a schedule of upcoming activities planned for children and youths in the community including clean-up campaigns, campfires, and sporting activities.

Palma encourages youths to participate, socialize with other youths from the community and become agents of change contributing positively to the development of their communities.

Cayo Central Area representative, Alex Balona and Councilors Matthew Preston and Aaron Mai of the San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council were also present at the event.

The BYM is the official youth arm of the People’s United Party. The youth group makes its voices heard by promoting educational, cultural, social, political, and sporting initiatives among its members.
