Platense draw 1-1 with Atlético Marte; Krisean Lopez plays 65 minutes

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Krisean Lopez played 65 minutes in Sunday’s 1-1 draw in a friendly match with First Division Salvadoran club Atlético Marte.

In the match played at Atlético Marte’s Estadio Jiboa in San Vicente, El Salvador, Atlético Marte scored first through ex-Verdes Paraguayan player Luis Ibarra in the 58^th minute.

Wilmer Novoa tied it for Platense in the 90^th minute.

“At this moment I believe there’s still more room for improvement with my performance. I just need to push myself a little harder,” Lopez said.

“Definitely building confidence and feeling much more comfortable.”

Coach Rubén da Silva had the same line of thought saying they must improve but was satisfied they had room for improvement and will be working on that this week.

Platense played six pre-season games winning three, drawing two, and losing one. The Salvadoran First Division (Premier League) is set to start on Saturday. Platense should be playing champions Alianza in their opening match.
