Police Communications Director Fitzroy Yearwood dies following stroke

By Benjamin Flowers: Head of Communications for the Belize Police Department, Assistant Superintendent of Police Fitzroy Yearwood, has died, Breaking Belize News has confirmed.

Yearwood was pronounced dead today after being hospitalized by a massive stroke over the Easter Weekend.

Yearwood was admitted to the hospital on Sunday, where he remained until his passing this afternoon.

The Belize Police Department has yet to issue an official statement.
