U.S. Ambassador and Council of Churches discuss social issues

Discussions included social issues affecting Belize such as crime, poverty, and human rights.

The participants agreed that freedom of religion is a fundamental human right, which all people should have the right to practice according to their conscience and free from persecution and fear.
