Ronlee Petillo, Alyon Domingo wounded in shooting on Amara Avenue

By Aaron Humes: 33-year-old Ronlee Petillo and 21-year-old Alyon Domingo are hospitalized in stable condition as police pursue the man who went to shoot them Saturday night on Amara Avenue, Belize City.

According to police, Petillo, Domingo, and others were in a yard on Amara Avenue next to Baba’s Store when a man described as fair-skinned, slim-built, and wearing an Afro, black T-shirt, and long pants came from behind the yard and fired several shots towards their direction.

Petillo and Domingo were both quickly taken to the hospital.

Petillo faces separate charges of rape and aggravated assault dating back to December and is out on bail. Police investigations continue.
