Third suspect being sought in murder of Jose Antonio Lopez as two charged

By Aaron Humes: Police say a third man is being sought in the murder of vegetable vendor Jose Antonio Lopez of Valley of Peace, Cayo District, last week.

23-year-old Milton Nunez and 21-year-old Emerson Elijio have been charged with the murder and appeared in court earlier today.

ACP Hilberto Romero, Officer Commanding Eastern Division, revealed that the victim and the alleged culprits knew each other and had been with each other for several hours before the incident.

Police are still looking for a firearm believed stolen from Lopez among other items.
