San Pedro prepares for 16th annual Lobster Fest!

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The San Pedro Lobster Festival committee, in collaboration with the San Pedro Business Association is gearing up for the 2023 San Pedro Lobster Fest.

This year the festival will be the longest festival on record with a total 14 days of fun lobster crawl (day and night) events.

The festival commences on July 3 and goes through to July 16, 2023.

On July 15, the annual Block Party will be held at the Louis Sylvestre Sports Complex (Saca Chispas).

Marking the close of the festival, a Beach Party will be held on July 16 at the Boca Del Rio Park.

This year’s festival marks the 16th year of celebrating the island’s lobster season with the support of local businesses, our lovely Belizean community and esteemed international visitors.

The festival committee says that all venues and booths are now fully booked.

“We would like to thank each and every person, business and organization(s) that have helped us make the San Pedro Lobster Festival a huge success over these last 16 years,” the committee noted.

Another exciting feature of the festival is the free San Pedro Lobster Festival Passport that can be stamped at each event earning the passport holder a free raffle ticket for a grand prize.
