International News: Teen spends family’s savings of $63,000 on mobile games in China

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: A 13-year-old girl from Henan, China reportedly used her mom’s debit card to purchase mobile games over a span of 4 months spending their savings of $63,000.

According to Yahoo, the teen used the card to buy games for her and her classmates and deleted every transaction recorded so her mom wouldn’t notice.

Her mom eventually found out after a teacher noticed the teen spending unusual amount of time on her phone at school.

When she checked her account, her balance was 0.50 yuan (approximately $0.07).
