By Breaking Belize News Staff: A recent turn of events has left a bit of uncertainty in the football community in Belize, particularly for the San Pedro Pirates and prospective coach Charlie Slusher. The highly anticipated deal that was poised to redefine the future of the San Pedro Pirates has unfortunately fallen through, according to confirmed reports that have reached our newsroom.

The potential partnership, which saw a new prospective owner teaming up with Coach Charlie Slusher, was being touted as a game-changer for Belizean football. The duo, brimming with ambition, were meticulously working together to assemble what they were hoping to quickly become the most formidable team in Belize. The pre-season was set to kick off next week, generating buzz amongst fans and pundits about the prospects for the San Pedro pirates.

However, in the final moments of this carefully planned transfer there was a change of hearts and the ownership transfer failed to materialize. As a result the San Pedro Pirates football team is back under the original owner’s helm.
