Belize play Honduras on Wednesday night in XIV U-19 Women’s Central American Volleyball Championship; good time to go up 2-1

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: After taking the day off on Tuesday, Belize return to the Belize City Civic Center on Wednesday night against Honduras to play their third game in the XIV U-19 Women’s Central American Volleyball Championship at 7:30 pm.

Belize put on a show against Panama blanking them 3-0 25-11, 25-16, 25-13 on opening night on Sunday but fell 3-1 (25-21, 22-25, 25-12, 25-7) to Costa Rica on Monday night.

Tonight, they should pick up their second victory as they are facing the weakest team in the competition. Honduras have lost all three games so far.

Before that, Costa Rica open against leaders Nicaragua at 2:30 pm. That’ll be followed by Panama challenging Guatemala at 5:00 pm.
