Evian Murillo shot dead on veranda ten minutes before midnight

By Aaron Humes: A former murder suspect is the latest victim of murder in Belize City.

26-year-old Evian Murillo was on his veranda at his mother’s house on Friday night when she heard gunshots. After they subsided she came out and found her son’s body lying face up on the veranda with gunshot wounds and blood surrounding it. He was later pronounced dead.

Murillo was once charged for murder but the motive for his killing is unknown at this time. Police investigations continue.
