International News: Bus crash in Mexico kills 15 people, injures 36 others

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, a bus carrying mostly Venezuelan migrants crashed into a freight truck and killed 15 people.

Thirty-six more people were injured.

According to the Associated Press, most of the passengers were Venezuelan migrants.

The accident occurred on a highway that runs south toward Oaxaca state. The route is frequently used by migrant smugglers.

Migrants frequently use trucks and buses to travel through Mexico to reach the U.S. border.
