Charges filed in murder of James Escarpeta

By Aaron Humes: Police this morning announced that they have formally arrested and charged 32-year-old Jason McKenzie for the crime of Murder.

McKenzie is accused in the shooting death of James Escarpeta near West Street at the end of July, an event which precipitated a State of Emergency to avoid potential retaliation and escalation in violence.
