Annual National Service Day wreath laying ceremony held in Belize City

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez:  This morning, Government Ministers, officials, Mayors, students and members of the Belize Defence Force joined the ceremony for the 12^th annual wreath laying ceremony in honor of the Father of the Nation, George Cadle Price.

Mayor of Belize City, Bernard Wagner and the Belize City Council participated in the event.

“Today, we come together to honor the exemplary legacy of Rt. Hon. George Cadle Price, a legacy defined by unwavering service and a commitment to national unity in Belize,” a statement from the Belize City Council said.

“On this day and every day, let us remember and carry forward his remarkable spirit of dedication and unity as we work together to build a Belize that thrives on the positive values he promoted,” it added.
