The 3rd Annual Belize City Half Marathon is this weekend

By Celeste Chang : The Belize City Council, along with the National Sports Council and Total Time Belize, announced their 3rd Annual Belize City Half Marathon, 10K & 5K.

The marathon will take place on September 24th, 2023. It will begin and end 5:30 am at the Marion Jones Sports Complex. There are two categories to compete in: male and female.

Runners will compete for the prizes of Gold, Silver, Bronze, and glory! Runner or not, you are encouraged to embrace the excitement of running, not just the excitement but the experience that comes with this rigorous but rewarding workout and lastly to compete for cash prizes!

First-place winners receive a cash prize of $1000 and mor, and the best part about it is that everyone who finishes the race receives a medal!
