Ministry of Agriculture warns of FAKE profile soliciting money

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez:  The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise has issued an advisory warning everyone that the pictured Facebook page is a FAKE page.

“Hon. Jose Abelardo Mai is not connected to this page in any way; if the persons running this page solicit money or make grant offers too good to be true, report the matter to Facebook and DO NOT give them anything,” the Ministry urged.

The culprit/s using the FAKE page reached out to several people reportedly soliciting money and offering an “opportunity” then requesting deposits through Moneygram to a U.S. account.

The public is urged to report any such scams.
