Posted: Tuesday, October 10, 2023. 9:19 pm CST.

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Nimrod Tillett, 34, a notorious Orange Walk resident who has walked from three murder charges and lived to tell the tale after being shot multiple times in July, is being sought for a 2019 murder of a woman in Mexico.

An application for an extradition was made in the lower court today. He is accused of killing a woman in 2019 in Mexico but other details of the case will not be disclosed until 60 days from now, when the Attorney General’s office must make a solid case against Tillett.

Tillett will be remanded to jail in the meantime while the AG’s office readies the case. Tillett, however, begged for mercy due to his condition, saying he requires round the clock medical attention. He was still remanded to prison but will be brought back to court on October 30, to ensure his medical needs are being met.
