Sandhill man accused of stealing water pump from close friend

By Aaron Humes: A Sandhill man accused of stealing a woman’s water pump is out on bail after he pleaded not guilty to theft.

32-year-old Evin Vaccaro is accused that on October 5, in Sandhill, Belize District, he dishonestly appropriated a blue water pump valued $150.

With no objection Vacarro was offered and met bail in the sum of $1,000 plus one surety of the same amount, subject to him agreeing not to interfere with the complainant, any of her family members or other prosecution witnesses in person or via social media.

According to Vaccaro, he considers the complainant like a sister to him who lives about 4 miles from his home.

Evin Vaccaro is due back in court in December 2023.
