Belize represented at Taiwan Reading Festival 2023

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Over the last 2 days, the Embassy of Belize in Taiwan participated in the 2023 Taiwan Reading Festival to introduce to the Taiwanese society Belize’s cultures, peoples, and histories through Belizean books.

Ambassador Dr. Candice Pitts says that hundreds of children and parents stopped by Belize’s booth to experience interactive learning games, such as reading, coloring images of Belize’s national features, taking quizzes on Belize, and solving puzzles that highlight Belize.

The Embassy of Belize expressed gratitude to Belizean student, Isabel Morales, for performing songs about Belize, which she composed herself, as well as Alexander Coye, Asia Gilharry, and Kacy Sosa, who helped to promote Belize at the booth.
