Christmas Cheer approved for 2023; both PUP and UDP divisions to receive funds

By Aaron Humes: Prime Minister John Briceno has confirmed that monies were approved at the last House meeting on December 7 for the so-called Christmas Cheer program.

Instituted under the Dean Barrow government, constituencies were offered funds to respond to constituents’ needs in this season of giving.

Briceno mentioned no numbers but emphasized that both divisions represented by the People’s United Party and United Democratic Party would receive funds.
