Hildebrand Codd still on the run following court escape

By Aaron Humes: The authorities continue to seek Hildebrand Codd, who escaped from Police custody at the High Court on December 5.

Hildebrandt Codd stands convicted of the November 29, 2018, murder of Roaring Creek resident, Densmore Owen Bowman, 32, a father who was tortured and killed then buried in a shallow grave. Sentencing was scheduled for January 11, 2024, whether or not Codd is present.

Codd is considered “armed and dangerous.” He faces a $1,000 bounty from Crimestoppers Belize issued in the hours after his escape. An additional reward of $3,000 is being offered for information on his whereabouts.

It is believed, however, that he has not fled the jurisdiction.
