New Community Hub inaugurated in San Pedro Columbia

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On April 16, 2024, the European Union inaugurated a new Community hub in San Pedro Columbia in Southern Belize.

The Community hub is located inside of the community library and will offer support and access to various services and digital skills training.

From preparing your file to apply for a birth certificate to support to access many other government services in partnership with various government departments.

Other community spaces will also be used under a European Union funded initiative to offer a variety of trainings free of charge, from useful job skills, to entrepreneurship, health, education and much more.

The European Union is supporting 7 Community Hubs in 7 communities in Stann Creek and Toledo districts.
