Monday, April 13th 2015. BMG: Orange Walk police are investigating
the circumstances surrounding the drowning of a San Estevan Village resident. According to authorities, they responded to a distress call sometime on Sunday and upon arrival saw the motionless body of 25 year Alejandro Arjona laying face up in the New River, near the Ferry.
Reports are that Arjona was among several men socializing in the area when he decided to take a swim and did not resurface. His body was later found and retrieved by a family member. His body now awaits a Post Mortem at the NRH
