5 participants complete Beltraide’s Covid Relief for Women in Emerging Industries Sessions

Posted: Thursday, October 13, 2022. 11:05 am CST.

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Earlier this year, Beltraide launched the Covid Relief for Women in Emerging Industries (CRWEI) program with the aim of improving the competencies and increasing the economic empowerment of women from 2 emerging industries that were negatively affected by the pandemic, namely the seaweed and music industries.

Five participants from the Belize Seaweed Farmers Association (BWSFA) worked with contracted consultants in group workshops, as well as one-on-one sessions.

Beltraide said that capacity-building sessions were successfully executed, and detailed individual branding and marketing packages were completed by McNab Visual Strategies.

“BELTRAIDE would like to thank #TaiwanICDF and congratulate the participants of this initiative on their hard work and commitment to the Covid Relief for Women in Emerging Industries project and continues to stand with them through their journey towards realizing their entrepreneurial goals,” Beltraide stated.
