Cold front to produce cool and dry weather

Posted: Saturday, November 16, 2019. 10:23 am CST.

The National Meteorological Service of Belize’s latest weather report says that a cold front is affecting the country, bringing with it cool and dry conditions for the next couple of days.

The 24-hour forecast calls for variably cloudy, windy and cool conditions with little or no rainfall, except for a few showers or isolated thunderstorms over southern coastal waters.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 82 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 72 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 68 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 64 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing North-Northwest between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate-rough. There is a small craft caution in effect for gusty areas and rough seas.

There will be a high tide at 1:04 a.m. and low tide at 5:34 p.m. The sun will set at 5:16 p.m. and the moon will rise at 9:30 p.m.
