Gofundme page launched to help aspiring dietician

By BBN Staff: Leera Carr, a Belizean student on her final semester of earning her Bachelors of Science ( BSc) in Dietetics is seeking financial assistance to make her dream into a reality.

Carr’s aunt recently launched a Gofundme page, to get her the help she needs to complete her internship at Northern Caribbean University based in Manchester, Jamaica.

Apart from her studies in Nutrition and Dietetics, which covers Nutrition Assessment and Counseling, Food Service Management, Community Nutrition, Nutrition Care Management, and Human Biology, Carr headed a tutoring program for the university students and motivational seminars.

Carr is also the Academic Vice President for Nutrition and Dietetics Student’s Association and the Academics Vice President for the United Student Movement (USM).
