Police believed to have killed alleged shooter after murder on Kraal Road

By Aaron Humes: Two persons are dead in Belize City, following a shooting this morning.

According to our sources, one of the dead apparently went on a mission to kill and succeeded.

But he didn’t count on responding police officers with whom he exchanged gunfire.

Both men have been transported to the hospital and are confirmed dead.

The Kraal Road area has seen a surge in violence following last week’s double death of Gary Young and Matthew Moore in a similar scenario – the shooter shot in retaliation.

Police continue their investigations.
