Police investigate wild-west- shootout in Corozal

Tuesday, October 13^th, 2015. BMG: Corozal police are currently investigating a ‘wild-west’ style shoot out late Monday night.

Around 11:33 Monday night police visited the Santa Maria Street, situated on Halls Layout, in that municipality where they saw a blue 1993 VW Jetta car with apparent bullet holes.

After further checks in the area, police also saw a white freight truck with the back glass and windshield shattered and several bullet holes on the container.

Initial investigation revealed that about 11:24 p.m. Two male persons on a bicycle fired several shots which caused the damages.

Police are investigating.
