Guinea Grass Multi-Purpose Center

ORANGE WALK BUREAU Reporting: A new multi-purpose facility was inaugurated earlier this week in the village of Guinea Grass in the Orange Walk district.
Over 800 children stand to benefit from the opening of the facility in the village, which will provide an outlet for educational and cultural activities, such as reading.
The Guinea Grass village multi-purpose Center was financed by the government of Belize at a cost of $368,099.
Funding was provided through a loan from the Caribbean Development Bank.
The new Guinea Grass multi-purpose center houses the community library, the Village Council office, the Water Board office and a sewing project.
