Man killed in early morning road traffic accident

Saturday, November 29, 2014. PATRICK E. JONES Reporting: An early morning road traffic accident on the George Price Highway has left one man dead.

The victim has been identified as 35 year old Joseph Eiley.

According to police reports, Eiley was driving a Isuzu Rodeo with Belize City license plates around 1 am today when he apparently lost control of the vehicle and overturned between miles 9 and 10 on the George Price Highway.

Police say that at the time of the incident, Eiley was traveling from Hattieville village to Belize City.

He was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and was pronounced dead at 2 am.
