By BBN Staff: San Ignacio Police and the mother of 16-year-old Heidi Teck are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the missing girl who was last seen a week ago on Tuesday, March 29 after she left her home in Bullet Tree Falls, Cayo.
Esther Teck, 37, reported to police that yesterday around 12:00 p.m., she texted her daughter Heidi to find out where she was since she had been spending time with her friends in San Ignacio and should have been returning home.
Heidi responded by saying that she would be going to Placencia with her friends to find a job and when her mother disapproved, telling her to go home instead, she refused and stopped responding afterwards.
She is of Hispanic descent, is described as being of light brown complexion, approximately 5-feet-6 in height, has curly long hair and a tattoo behind her neck with the letters ‘P’ and ‘B’. Anyone with information of Heidi’s whereabouts is asked to contact the nearest police station.
