The woman reported that she thought the vehicle had hit something and when they exited the vehicle, they were held up at gunpoint by two persons.
The woman and the driver of the vehicle were abducted, taken to the Dangriga cemetery and tied up.
The driver freed himself and escaped leaving the woman tied up.
One of the armed culprits went to look for the man and the other armed with a knife remained there and raped the woman. She was sodomized 
The culprit then fled the area in the vehicle.
Once the woman was freed, she reported it to the police and they apprehended the accused Robert Taylor.
Taylor was found guilty of one count of abduction and one count of rape by a jury on the 10 of April.
On Wednesday, he was sentenced two twelve-year sentences to run concurrently.
