Posted: Sunday, August 27, 2017. 5:02 p.m. CST.

By BBN Staff: A fight between two Orange Walk men took a turn for the worst when one retrieved a firearm and opened fire on the other.

Police visited the Northern Regional Hospital shortly after 7 p.m. last night where they saw San Estevan Resident, 26 year old Moises Ismael Duque, suffering from gunshot wounds in his abdomen.

Police have not yet revealed further details about his condition or if he is even alive. When our colleagues at KREM News asked police press officer, Rafael Martinez, for confirmation he was unable to do so.

What we currently do know is that the shooter has been detained by police and is expected to face several charges.
