Chapter President, Roberto Harrison welcomed all members and guests and shared future tourism plans for the Cayo District.
Present at the event were members of the San Ignacio Police and San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council, tourism stakeholders from around the Cayo District, and community leaders.
The meeting included discussions on hosting a culture festival in San Ignacio Town, training opportunities for the BTIA members, and addressing water cleanliness in the twin towns.
The association also discussed planning of a second clean up campaign in Cayo.
The mixer featured live drumming entertainment while tourism and community stakeholders engaged in interactive discussions.
