Husband’s friend reportedly rapes wife after night of drinking

By BBN Staff: Corozal police are investigating a rape that occurred on Sunday morning.

A 26-year-old woman reported to police that she was socializing with family members on Saturday night when about 10:30 she went to bed and locked her house door leaving her husband, and a male friend outside drinking.

She further stated that on Sunday morning around 1:15, she was awakened with the male friend on top of her with his pants down.

Police are investigating.
