Body spotted in Mopan River

By BBN Staff: The body of a man has been spotted in the Mopan River near the San Jose Succotz Ferry in the Cayo District.

Information to BBN is that the man is a resident of Benque Viejo Del Carmen who from all accounts had drown.

However, his identity is yet to be confirmed.

At this time, he remains in the river as villagers attempt to retrieve his body.
