Authorities investigate cocaine bust in San Pedro Town

BBN Staff: In an interview with the media yesterday, Commissioner of Police Chester Williams said that the Belize Police Department is actively investigating reports of ‘Wet drops’ in San Pedro.

Additionally, Williams stated that the police maintains operations presence on the island in an effort to minimize these illegal activities.

Williams commended the operational forces and the San Pedro Police Formation for the 46-pound cocaine bust that occurred on Sunday afternoon.
