By BBN Staff: The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is issuing advisories on newly formed Tropical Depression Three.
The depression is centered over the western Atlantic Ocean about 120 miles (195 km) southeast of W. Palm Beach, Florida.
There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
Interests in the Northwest Bahamas and the east coast of Florida should monitor the progress of this system.
The depression is moving toward the northwest near 13 mph (20 km/h).
According to NHC, a turn toward the north-northwest is expected overnight followed by a turn toward the north and north-northeast on Tuesday and Tuesday night.
On the forecast track, the center should remain just offshore of the east coast of Florida during the next day or so.
Maximum sustained winds are near 30 miles per hour with higher gusts.
NHC says that the depression is forecast to dissipate by Wednesday.
