More cloudy spells and a few showers expected

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that today’s weather calls for cloudy spells with a few showers or isolated thunderstorms this morning becoming isolated this afternoon then mainly over the south tonight as a moderate easterly airflow prevails.

Today’s temperature is 87 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 81 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 81 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds are blowing East-Southeast between 10-20 Knots and the sea state will be choppy to moderate.

There will be a high tide at 1:39 p.m. and a low tide at 7:38 p.m. The sun will set at 6:14 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 10:26 a.m.
