Fire destroys two homes, badly burns woman

By BBN Staff: Two homes are destroyed and a woman critically injured after a fire yesterday.

It occurred yesterday just before 5 p.m. on Flamboyant Street in Belize City.

A police report revealed that a wooden home owned by Matthew Fernandez and another owned by Falon Gamboa was completely destroyed.

Police did not indicate the origin or cause of the fire but have indicated that Elena Reina was injured in the blaze.

She was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.

She is listed in a critical condition.
