One dead; two injured in traffic accident on Hummingbird highway

By BBN Staff: This morning, a road traffic accident claimed the life of truck driver, Jose Quinonez.

Quinonez was driving a truck that belongs to Vega’s Imports and was traveling on the Hummingbird highway when a tire blew out causing the truck to crash into another truck that was heading in the opposite direction.

Quinonez was traveling along with two other employees, Kelvin Torres and Melvin Ramirez, who sustained minor injuries.

Drivers traveling the road this morning are asked to exercise due caution.
