Fair weather expected to continue

By BBN Staff: The latest weather report prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that generally fair conditions will continue to prevail over most areas.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with cloudy spells today and partly cloudy tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms can be expected over the Toledo district this morning and tonight as well as inland this afternoon. Elsewhere showers or thunderstorms will be isolated.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 79 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 79 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

“Residents, especially those inland are advised to stay hydrated and avoid direct sunlight as much as possible,” the Met Service said.

Winds will be blowing East-Northeast between 05-10 knots and the sea state will be slight.

High tide will come in at 7:22 a.k. and low tide will occur at 2:56 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:16 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 5:02 a.m.
