Second ‘Trenchtown’ shooting victim passes away

By BBN Staff: On Monday night, two armed masked men shot and killed Joshua Villas, 28, at his home in the Trenchtown area in San Ignacio.

The gunmen also approached and shot Villas’ neighbor, twenty-one-year-old Anthony Tzul multiple times.

Tzul was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize City where he remained in a critical condition.

Relatives have confirmed to BBN that Tzul passed away around 3:00 this morning after battling for his life.

In an interview with the media on Tuesday, police said that cops were following up on several leads.
