Commissioner of Police joins in search mission for missing officer Ical

By BBN Staff: The Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, along with police officers and officers of the Belize Defense Force are in the Machakilha area of Toledo searching for missing police officer, Bernard Ical.

Ical left his home on August 31 en route to Fairweather Camp in Punta Gorda.

His wife, Claudia Ical says that on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at about 4 a.m. she received a text message from her husband’s phone number informing her that he was leaving to conduct foot patrol in the Machaquilha area along with some other personnel.

But, on Thursday, September 3, 2020, Claudia was informed that her husband was missing.

Since then, a search has been ongoing with hopes of finding officer Ical.
