By BBN Staff: Beginning in November, residents of the Cayo District will have an opportunity at finding jobs with Belize’s largest business process outsourcing agency, RCCbpo (formerly Ready Call Center).

On the heels of filling more than 500 positions at its two Belize City branches and in Orange Walk earlier this year, the company, according to CEO Nubia Ramirez, hopes to invite back past employees and new ones to its Cayo offices.

Ramirez says, “Opening in the Cayo District and San Ignacio has been in our business strategy for awhile. Throughout the evolution of the company, RCC has been fortunate enough to employ numerous Cayo locals, so we’re thrilled to provide those individuals with an opportunity to work closer to home. We’ve lost employees in the past, due to the commute itself, so it’s our hope that opening this new location will allow them to return to work at RCC!”

Added Executive Vice President (EVP) David Long, “We encourage anyone, experienced or not, to apply. If you have the will, we can train the skill. We take pride in not just being a call center, but also an extension of our clients. We are confident that we can assemble a great team from the Cayo District. San Ignacio is an incredible part of Belize, and RCC is excited to expand the operation to the area.”

With more than 1,500 employees in 15 years, RCCbpo is one of Belize’s largest private employer, and one of the first to begin hiring in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Offering positions ranging from agents, supervisors, and managers to quality assistants, HR representatives, administrators, recruiters, and security officers, RCCbpo will host both a virtual and in-person job fair to educate and inspire any individuals interested in getting involved with the company’s newest branch.

RCCbpo says it has been able to maintain WFH (work from home) and WFO (work from office) throughout the pandemic emergency, creating hundreds of job opportunities for those in need.

Ramirez concludes by noting, “We’re initially hiring 300 people, as soon as possible. However, we anticipate increasing our workforce in Cayo by vastly more than that in the future.”
