More than 31 million people have recovered from COVID-19 worldwide

By BBN Staff: While the COVID-19 pandemic continues to infect people worldwide, over 31 million people have managed to recover from the virus.

Worldometer reports that as of today, global infections stood at over 41 million, but that over 31 million people had recovered from the virus.

There are currently over 9.5 million active cases with 1 percent of those cases (74,540) listed as serious/critical.

The United States has confirmed over 8.6 million cases and 227,687 deaths, keeping its ranking as the hardest-hit country in the world by COVID-19.

India, the second-most hit country has confirmed over 7.7 million cases with 117,277 deaths.

Brazil, while being the third-hardest hit country with 5.3 million infections has recorded 155,500 deaths.

Infections continue to soar in Belize with 2,937 confirmed cases of the virus.

Forty-six people have died to complications associated to COVID-19 in Belize.
