COVID-19 update: 29 new cases identified

By BBN Staff: The Office of the Director of Health Services noted that of the 189 samples processed today, 29 new cases were identified.

The breakdown of the new cases is as follows:

Orange Walk – 2 (1 Guinea Grass, 1 from Chunox)

Belize – 13 (1 Belize City, 1 Lord’s Bank, 2 Kolbe, 1 from OW Town, 8 detected at the PGIA, they are Second Home Owners in San Ignacio)

Cayo – 5 (2 Belmopan, 1 San Ignacio, 1 Roaring Creek, 1 Bullet Tree Falls)

Stann Creek – 5 (1 Trio, 4 from Bella Vista TOL)

Toledo – 4 (3 Punta Gorda, 1 San Pedro Columbia)

Thirty one more patients recovered.
