Sixteen Belizeans hospitalized due to COVID-19, more than 30 recover

By BBN Staff: Some 16 Belizeans are hospitalized due to COVID-19, while more than 30 people have recovered according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).

The Ministry said that the 16 patients are receiving varying levels of care, while one person is also receiving critical care at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) given the increasing level of complications related to the virus.

Meanwhile, 32 people, 19 females and 13 males have managed to recover.

These new recoveries bring the national total up to 10,344 and the national recovery rate to 92.8 percent.
